The Groovies have taken a brief hiatus from their recording session project - at least until the mid-June timeframe as they are getting geared-up for a live Block Party performance which has been scheduled for June 10th in Pelham, New Hampshire. Despite more than 25 years of studio recording, this will mark the first time this 6-member band have ever performed "live" together. The ROTATION page reflects the cover material to be performed for this event, along with 5 original songs: Dead of Night, The Little Things, Anything, Temporary Town and You Don't Know. While admittance to the Block Party is limited to the 6-street neighborhood, it's entirely possible that the music will be heard well beyond the immediate Block Party area (at least that is the intent). ;-)

The performance will be recorded in both ADAT audio and Video, and highlights will be posted on website the week following the event.
